Kinloch Pointe

Natural materials blur the lines between indoors and out.

A close collaboration with architect Dan Ensminger and lighting designer Wendy Umanoff resulted in a unique, completely customized home inspired by the owner’s love of the mountains.

Every material was chosen with our client’s goal of blurring the boundary between the indoors and outdoors in mind. Additionally, spaces were carved out to accommodate entertaining including multiple outdoor spaces where guests can enjoy the stunning golf course lake view.

A mix of rustic wood, steel beams, natural stone tile, and metal cased jambs are combined with more delicate design details like arched doorways, marble countertops and walls, and a rooted  color palette. The custom designed lighting throughout the house is cohesive while helping to delineate specific spaces where needed and fully recede into the background where appropriate.
